Solution
Measure areas
Draw the boundary of any zone on the map and get its flat area, its real (3D) area and its perimeter. The measurement is kept with the survey and its date.
What it's for
Measure the area of any zone on the ground.
Outline plots, work fronts or intervention zones on the orthophoto. You get the flat area, the real (3D) area that follows the terrain, and the perimeter, accurate to 5 cm.
Drag to see the measured area.

OrthophotoMeasured areaWhat you need
A georeferenced orthophoto and digital terrain model of the site.
Upload the flight data or import the orthophoto and model already processed. For 5 cm accuracy, use ground control points in the survey or an RTK drone.

Results
The area, the boundary and the date in one record.
Each measurement is kept with the drawn boundary and the survey it came from, ready to look up, share or export.

Automatic report with the measurements

Important note. The tool measures the drawn area. It does not determine legal property boundaries.
FAQ
What people usually ask.
Do I need ground control points?
They are not required: the area is measured without them. With ground control points in the survey or RTK, accuracy reaches 5 cm.
What is the difference between flat area and real (3D) area?
The flat area is the zone projected onto the map. The real (3D) area follows the terrain of the digital terrain model, so it is larger on sloping ground.
Can I measure several zones on the same survey?
Yes. Each zone is kept with its own boundary, area and perimeter.
In which formats can I export the areas?
Via API, WMTS or IFC, as vector data (the boundaries) and raster (the orthophoto and the model), directly to AutoCAD, ZWCAD, QGIS, ArcGIS, Aplitop MDT, Revit, ArchiCAD, ARCHLINE.XP or Blender.
